The End of The All-Star Run

I can say this only because you were actually a "little" glad y'all lost.  Only a little, it still hurt, but you were ready for some vacation time.  This was one of the hottest most humid days of the season so far.  We cheered on the might Trojans and y'all ended up getting beat by two very tough teams, one of which actually won state!

Rookie All-Star

Today was supposed to be the first day of the Rookie All-Star State Tournament.  However, just like yesterday, it was still storming.  They called off the opening ceremonies and games for the day.  They resheduled all today's games for tomorrow.  So we have a long day tomorrow.  Go Trojans!

 

UNA Basketball Camp

You finished your first year at UNA Basketball camp.  You had a blast.  Everyday you went to camp this week and learning about ball handeling and skills.  Then most of the afternoons you also had All-Star Baseball practice.  It was fun watching you play with the other kids your age. 

Goodbye Highland Park

Today you finished the second grade.  You were so excited you "graduated" from Highland Park Elementary School.  Next year you will be at McBride and will be able to walk over to daddy's classroom after school. I don't know who is more excited.  Probably me:)

Texas Rangers End their Season

The Texas Rangers has had an awesome season.  You came in second in your division.  Tonight y'all celebrated in your victories.

State Competition

Today we traveled to Mt. Vernon Free Will Baptist Church for competition.  It was your first big competition and you did so well.  You won and get to go to Tampa!  You were so proud of your medal.  I am proud of you because you stood up and said your verses without hesitation.

We had to celebrate Sam's birthday early this year because on the 18th we will be in Destin for Micah and Devin's wedding. Happy Birthday Sam!
