Well y'all played your third game tonight and won. 12-10. You were so proud of your team. Several of them scored tonight.  This means y'all officially beat all three teams in the 3rd grade!  You had several supporters. John Yordy and his mother came along with David, Beth, Alex, Mamaw and me. Afterwards we went to Ricatoni's and ate. Go Silver!

Wow

We just thought last night's basketball game was tough. Today was more physical!  Y'all pulled it out though. Once again you got the only three points for your team. The score was 3-2 agian!  

After the game we went to Pizza Hut for lunch. We all knew you were exhausted because of the attitude. But we all ( Mamaw, Papaw and Mamaw) had a good visit. 

First basketball game.

Tonight you had your first basketball game. It was a hard fought win 3-2, you were the home team.

You made all three points. A two pointer and and a free throw. You also fouled the other team 4 times which is how they got their 2 points. You also made a shot and the ball stuck on the rim!

  Overall it was a good game you just got to learn not to get too emotional.

Back to the grind

Connor and I went back to school/work today. Not much to report on. It wasn't a bad day in fact everything went smooth. After school we went to Papa Murphy's and got supper then came home. We played two games of pool but pretty much lazed around. 

It's Great to be an Auburn Tiger

While we did not win we enjoyed the day walking around Auburn. We saw Samford hall and Toomers corner. It was bitter sweet because we had hoped to be taking pictures of the "rolled corner" but it was still nice nonetheless. 

On the way home we stopped in Montgomery where got you some new shoes. You are in a size 8!  Wow! Then we came home played pool and you taught me SETS.

BCS National Championship

The weather and roads cooperated with us. It was extremely cold but we went to Auburn to root for our Tigers. We visited with Whitley and her new boyfriend Alan. We went to Bob's Victory Grill to watch the game. The Auburn Basketball team ate with us. Auburn started off great they led 21-10 at half. Everyone was excited. However third quarter was rough and we struggled the rest of the game. We ended up losing the game with 13 seconds. The score was 34-31 Florida State. It was very painful. We had a great time but it was sickening. We decided to focus on the fact that we beat Bama and won the SEC Championship game. We only one 3 games last year and this year we won 12!  No one ever thought that we could or would get to play and championship much less play such a close game.

We went back to Whitley's and you watched RV and went to sleep.
