Washington Trip Day 3

It was a whirlwind of a day!  We started in Philadelphia, PA.  We visited Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, Benjamin Franklin's grave and the Philadelphia Mint.  You and I tasted out first Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches.

After we left Philadelphia we went to Baltimore Maryland.  We went to the National Aquarium and to the Baltimore Harbor area.  We ate supper at Hard-rock.  We were disappointed in the Aquarium as the one in Chattanooga and Gatlinburg is better than the "National" Aquarium.  But we got to see Baltimore too.

After we left Maryland we went to DC.  We toured the Jefferson Memorial and the Lincoln Memorial.  At one point you ran off from me and I could not find you.  I finally found you sitting at the feet of Abraham Lincoln.  I knew you were excited about seeing this.  You had spoken of seeing it since Kindergarten.  Every time I would look around I would see you sitting and staring at him.  You were fascinated by it.

As soon as we got back on the bus you feel asleep.  I just hope that since you saw what you wanted to see (Lincoln) you still are interested!
